TradeMalta kicks off its Go Global – International and Export Management Training Course

Go-global-2023

The seventh run of the Go Global – Internationalisation and Export Management Training Course, organised by TradeMalta, kicked off early October with 15 participants. The main purpose of the course is to provide early-stage exporters with valuable insights into the most critical strategic aspects of internationalisation.  Additionally, the course provides participants with a unique opportunity to acquire technical training on the most essential skills required for managing international operations.

The 10-week programme is delivered by experts in the field and qualified trainers who will guide and support participants in developing a successful internationalisation strategy. The course covers key strategic topics including Internationalisation and its Risk Analysis, Managing an International Enterprise, Market Research and Intelligence, Key legal considerations of internationalisation, Technoligical opportunities and capabilities, Analysis and Interpretation of financial Statements, Marketing, Value Proposition and Marketing Strategy, Networking and Relationship Management, Creativity and Innovation and social media.

Throughout the course, participants are given the opportunity to prepare a business development plan tailored for international expansion.  This plan is then presented to a panel of lecturers which is then followed by an export clinic.  During the export clinic, each participant is provided with a comprehensive evaluation of their individual plans, complete with pertinent insights and recommendations.

This training programme not only facilitates networking opportunities but also incorporates two interactive panel discussions featuring experienced exporters who will share their insights and best practices with the participants.

The course, which opens every year, is organised together with Malta University Consulting Co. Ltd., with the support of HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c.
