TradeMalta hosts business seminar for exporters of Food and Beverage products

Representatives of companies from the Food and Beverage Manufacturing sector took part in a half-day seminar organised by TradeMalta, aimed at providing them with assistance on exporting their products. The workshop focused on understanding the differences between manufacturing under private label and promoting one’s brand, therefore guiding entrepreneurs to select the best strategy. The event saw the participation of several Maltese companies from the food and beverage manufacturers seeking to expand their business internationally.

Mr Stephen Saliba, Head of International Business Development at Simonds Farsons Cisk, delved into the implications of building and exporting one’s own brand, while Ms Veronica Nardelli from ARQ Group Malta analysed the different growth opportunities for private label manufacturing that are emerging in the Middle East and Africa. A panel discussion made up from various industry players was also part of the agenda.
