Grow your export business through procurement
International tenders are an opportunity for business undertakings to expand into new markets. In particular, “public procurement is a negotiating area gaining in importance at multilateral and bilateral level, as evidenced by a brief review of procurement provisions in existing trade agreements.” (International Public Procurement: From scant facts to hard data, Lucian Cernat and Zornitsa Kutlina-Dimitrova, April 2015). Governments are usually the largest purchasers of goods and services, with billions spent, and contracts accounting for as much as 15-20% of the GDP worldwide. Contract opportunities in this regard, are therefore considered as increasingly important for global economic growth and international trade.
TradeMalta is here to support Malta-based companies to identify and maximise international contract opportunities, especially those available through the global public sector.
