Biotech Innovations Limited

Biotech Innovations is a spin off of the University of Malta, set up in 2016, and is based at the Biomedical Sciences building. The company’s mission is to develop new testing protocols that address current gaps in oncology testing and then offer these new tests as a service. Biotech Innovations Ltd is a research and development company in the field of life sciences and medical diagnostics, with the capacity of providing diagnostic services. Biotech Innovations Ltd initiated joint projects on (1) pharmacogenetics to enter the Middle East market and other territories; (2) perform validation studies to enter the Chinese market with diagnostic services following setup of diagnostic workflow; and (3) provide a strategic position within the European Association of Preventive, Predictive and Personalised Medicine to provide consultancy and services through their centres as part of the European network.
