Wednesday 24th March 2021, 11.00 am (CET)

As part of TradeMalta’s ongoing efforts to engage with new markets and create global opportunities for Maltese companies, we are pleased to announce a forthcoming webinar on ‘Malta-Rwanda: Partners for Sustainable Business’.

Rwanda is often referred to as ‘the Singapore of Africa’ on account of its impressive growth and purposeful governance which ranks Rwanda’s GDP growth rate as one of the highest among African economies. Rwanda offers an internal market of 12 million people with a rapidly growing middle class. It is increasingly recognised as a hub for a rapidly integrating Africa. Centrally located in the region, Rwanda is part of the East African Community (EAC) with a market potential of over 132 million people. It is also signatory to the 2018 Kigali African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (ACFTA) currently being implemented under the African Union.

Senior officials from the Rwanda Development Agency, together with Maltese companies successfully operating in Rwanda, will be highlighting investment and business opportunities that are open to the Maltese business community. The presentation will be followed by a Question and Answer session.
