Covid-19 continues to have a significant negative impact on business operations for Maltese companies both domestically and overseas. In these uncertain times, it is important for enterprises to invest in research and market analysis to be in a position to grow in a post-Covid-19 environment.
TradeMalta is hosting a webinar on ‘Trading with Sub-Saharan Africa’ for SMEs that seek to explore market opportunities across Africa, especially in identified target countries. The webinar will be led by Ronald Micallef, non-resident Ambassador to Ethiopia and the African Union, with the participation of Malta’s High Commissioner to Ghana, Jean Claude Galea Mallia. The webinars are primarily intended for companies that are complete beginners to trading with Africa.
The webinar will discuss:
- Opportunities and challenges for Maltese SMEs in Africa
- Opportunities and Challenges for Maltese companies in selected sectors
- Maltese companies and their experience in West Africa- Ghana
- Maltese companies and their experience in East Africa- Ethiopia/Djibouti
Following the webinar, participants will have an opportunity to engage with speakers on a one-to-one basis to help them adapt their business models, marketing and strategies to ensure relevance to emerging African markets, particularly in the target countries, namely Ghana and Ethiopia/Djibouti.
Webinar participation will be limited to up to seven companies to ensure a personalised approach.
