Date: 13th June | Time: 08.30-13.00hrs | Venue: Malta Life Sciences Park, San Gwann
The international education sector is rapidly emerging as an important contributor to global trade. Today the sector has, in fact, established itself as one of the most important service-based exports locally. TradeMalta is organising a business seminar to explore the developments and opportunities relevant to the export of educational services.
During this half-day seminar, we will be presenting the findings from two industry reports commissioned to assess international opportunities that are emerging for the education sector in selected geographical markets. The seminar will also bring forward key players in the business to discuss their vision and strategies for the future. Mr. James Perry, CEO of the Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations in Malta (FELTOM), will be assessing the latest developments and potential growth opportunities for the English Language sector. Mr. Stephen Vella, General Manager of the Gateway to Industry Programme at MCAST, will be providing valuable insights on employing alternative approaches to internationalisation, whilst Mr. Stephen D’Alessandro, Director of Advenio eAcademy will explore the prospects of online education.
