Business Mission to Turkey

At the end of September, 2015, TradeMalta in collaboration with the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry organised a Trade Mission to Istanbul, Turkey.  During the visit, a business forum was organised in collaboration with DEIK, the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey, followed by business-to-business meetings with the Turkish counterparts.
A total of 17 Malta-based companies from various sectors including financial services, legal services, ICT, manufacturing, travel and restoration works amongst others met up with over 60 Turkish companies who attended the business forum and B2B meetings. Representatives from Transport Malta, Finance Malta and Malta Enterprise were also part of this delegation.
A number of bilateral trade meetings were also held between DEIK, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, as well as TUSIAD the Industrialist’s and Businessmen’s Association.
